A great place to have fresh and delicious seafood. Service was great as well as Chris was very attentive.

10000/10000 Walked in and was seated right away. Ordered crab cake and oysters as a start. (They have a little side sheet for the oysters they have) Crab cake was delicious with the aoli on top - even better with the cocktail & mignotte from the oysters haha My mom & I got the lobster roll with warmed butter - got extra butter didn't need it but ugh i love butter Entree came out right after apps - great experience. I'm going to make my mom drive us again haha

The lobster fritters were delicious and the lobster roll platter was just divine!! The service was great. We dined outside because we had our Frenchie with us and it wasn't bad. Yes, you must have the Key lime pie!! The server offered to bring water for the puppy it was incredibly nice e of him.

I so badly wanted some good seafood one night so I headed down to Jack's which is one of my favorite local seafood places for their quality and preparation. I love that it's a BYOB so I brought a bottle of white with me and indulged with a dozen steamers followed by the lobster clam bake, which also had steamers and I wish they would have told me and took home a Mississippi mud pie. All was outstanding as usual. Can't wait for my next visit.

Delivery order today from this place. If I want a really delicious chicken grilled sandwich, I will ordered from Jack's!!! The bread was soft, fresh, big and light... easy to bite! Chicken breast was juicy, tasty homemade fries were really crunchy . Love them!!! Today I added a delicious pecan pie.... Yummyyyyy. I ate all the pie Jack's is One of my favs! Blessings and thank you, guys!

Traveled to NY for the 4th and came out for dinner on the 3rd. Our friends knowing we are Marylanders decided to take us to a seafood spot. BTW, they said the seafood was to die for...comparable to Maryland Blue crabs..and let me tell you....they were not wrong. The fried oysters were fantastic, cooked to my delight the clams and pasta were freshly made and the oysters was tender and not chewy. In addition to my main dish, I washed everything down with a natural blueberry soda. Service was quick, and the young lad serving indicated the ownership had changed. However, there are no changes to staff and/or menu... resulting in a continuation of the quality of the food. Appearance reminded me of a local neighborhood restaurant where everyone was friendly with fluff.

While visiting friends in New Jersey they recommended we go to Jack's Lobster Shack. When we walked I saw tanks full of live lobsters, we were greated and immediately seated. It was not crowded however the few people who were there looked to be enjoying the food. It looked to be a very laid-back place it reminded me of a neighborhood restaurant. I ordered fried oysters and a lobster roll with a side salad and a root beer. I found it a little strange that they did not have a bar but you could bring your own wine. The fried oysters were fried beautifully and tasted great. The lobster roll was really flavorfull with the right amount of mayonaise and celery. The side salad was really fresh it had lettuce, tomatoes, raw onions and carrots with balsamic vinegar dressing. The root beer tasted like root beer lol! I will definitely be back to taste other items on the menu when I return to New Jersey. If you are ever in the New Jersey area and have a taste for fried oysters or lobster rolls make sure to check this place out.

Jacks is awesome!! Come here for fresh food (of course seafood). They have a lot to choose from and they have multiple locations! The service is super fast and it's a great casual place for some good food! I love that it's BYOB and I love their lobster roll! Insta: @thehungrysw

8 YEARS LATER... And i have made the decision to return to Jack's Lobster Shack. It was my birthday dinner with family, so i was either gonna embarass msyelf with this decision or impress them with this. Read on to discover. To say the service has improved is an understatment. we were instantly greated and seated. Our server (i wish i got her name!), was an abdoslute pleasure. friendly, quick and kept in check with us the whole time. this alone was a night and day experience compared to my last trip here. love the lobster place mats - cute and silly, but hey some people need help! mussels in white wine sauce was probably my fave item of the night. id say the sauce is more like a very garlicy scampi sauce, but it was delicious. if you arent a fan of garlic, than this might not be for you. however, the amount of mussels in the bowl is very generous. this was a great app. it comes with 2 or 3 slices of white bread, i would suggest throwing in another 2 since theres so much broth. my mother, who is a bigger hater than me, really enjoyed these too. new england clam chower. i appreciate this, but i feel it was missing something. i liked the texture, felt it was not too thick or too thin, but flavor wise it was lacking something. i was happy there wasnt bacon in it because i know a lot of places add bacon and then i can never eat it, so props to them here, lobster roll ct style was very good. for the steep price of $28, it was loaded with warm and very buttery BUTTER. lightly seasoned, but the lobster was the star of the show. the bread/bun itself was your traditional lobster roll/hot dog bun type of slit top, slightly toasted with butter. it comes with a side of coleslaw and a choice of chips or a side salad. i chose the salad and appreciated the size of it, and the dark greens, carrots and onions. plenty of dressing too. we also shared the fried calamari. this was good, but nothing to brag about. i loved that it was all rings and heads, a lot of places add other fillers into their calamari, but not at jacks - its all calamari. overall my experience was like night and day this time around and im glad i came back to give jacks another chance.

Came here because I was sooo badly craving lobster roll (because other lobster rolls weren't satisfying this craving). I remember coming here about 5-6 years ago for a family birthday, so thought to check it out since I was in the area. I got the lobster roll platter and my husband for the lobster tail platter. Both were fresh, generous in portions, and holy crap so good. I particularly loved that the roll had the heartiest meats of a lobster (the claws, some tails), making each bite absolutely perfect.
